This guide is for parents who might want to make their child's Gmail spam folder invisible. By default, the spam folder is visible, but for students grade 5 and up who have access to outside email, parents can choose to disable this folder. We cannot control the visibility of the spam folder from our administrative side -- it must be decided by each user.
Step 1: Login to Gmail
Step 2: In the upper-right corner, click the gear and select "See all settings"
Step 3: Select the “Labels” tab
Step 4: Select "show" or "hide" next to the label (in this case, Spam).
